Impact School of Missions is Going Global in 2017

ismglobalblueglobe-1PAOC International Missions is excited to announce the launch of Impact School of Missions (ISM) Global, a student internship training program designed to prepare students for cross-cultural ministry work in Southeast Asia, Eurasia and Latin America.

Beginning in 2017, the two new training locations of Slovakia (Eurasia) and the Dominican Republic (Latin America) will welcome students from North America who will receive four weeks of hands-on-learning to explore, engage and serve in a new culture, in addition to ISM’s established Thailand (Southeast Asia) location.

Impact School of Missions was born out of the vision and passion that rose in the heart of Sandra McIntosh, a global worker with the PAOC in Southeast Asia (SEA). She began serving as the volunteer co-ordinator with NightLight International. After several years of overseeing students from all of the world, she began pursuing her God-given dream of formalizing the training to equip and mobilize students to serve all over SEA.

Students from Impact School of Missions Global work with reputable charities and organizations such as ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas), Imagine Thailand, Jewels In A Crown, Noah’s Ark, Bratislava International Fellowship, Envision Ukraine, L’viv Theological Seminary, Every Day Ministries Canada, King’s Castle and m414.

Potential students are encouraged to visit the newly launched http://www.ismglobal.ca website to connect with regional site directors Adrian and Sharon Thomas (Latin America), Sheldon and Anna Armitage (Eurasia) and Bev and Gary Laing (Southeast Asia) for more information.
