Ministry Focus: Emmanuela was born and raised in Haiti and lived there until she was twelve. She came to Canada after Haiti's earthquake and has been living in Canada for the past twelve years. She is currently in her final year of the Cultural Engagement Program at Master's College and Seminary (located in Peterborough, ON). Emmanuela is dedicated to seeing the lost and broken come back to their Heavenly Father and she is passionate about prayer. The primary focus of her ministry is restoration. Emmanuela will be working under the leadership of Phil & Judy Bowler. She will be preaching, praying for the sick, learning how to do soul care ministry, work with various churches, and much more. After her mid-term trip to Guinea, Emmanuela wants to leave transform and apply her new skills in Canada.
Ministry History: Emmanuela's story started in Haiti and God is continuing to write her story. After Haiti's earthquake, Emmanuela's life transformed for the better. She encountered Jesus while being homeless for two weeks in Haiti. She got water baptized in a small church in Hamilton and started to get involved with the youth group. Emmanuela used to plan youth banquets and her love for Jesus grew in that small Haitian church in Hamilton. After Hamilton, she moved to Ottawa, ON. Her love for Jesus started to dim because she did not have good examples around her. Specific events led her to rededicating her life to Jesus. After her rededication, God called her to ministry and she said yes. Emmanuela is honored to be partnering with the Triune God to advance His Kingdom. She did not do nothing to deserve His mercy, but His grace gave her a second chance.
