Ride to Thrive

As of September 1, 2021, we are currently at $230,436.00. Thank you to all the individuals, churches and organizations who have partnered with us. We are excited that our goal is within reach.

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” – Galatians 6:10 (NIV)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our international partners in the household of faith continue to face severe economic consequences resulting from lockdowns and the closures of businesses and churches in the communities where they seek to be the face of God.

International Missions and ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas), our humanitarian agency, have been and continue to respond to the needs of pastors and church leaders and the hard-hit communities they serve.

Last year, to offer tangible support to our colleagues worldwide, Murray Cornelius, along with 23 Canadian colleagues and about 16 international partners, did a 100 km bicycle ride to raise funds to feed the families of these pastors and leaders. Murray's Ride to Thrive generated over $200,000, providing financial assistance to 2,000 pastors in 16 countries.

Murray expanded the ride this year to three cities, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver, each 100 kms. Yes, he rode 300 kms! In partnership with ERDO, we are caring for those in the household of faith and the communities where they serve.

The funds raised through the Ride to Thrive will assist the following nations: Bangladesh, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guinea, Honduras India, Libera, Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. In addition to these 15 countries, ERDO (PAOC's Humanitarian arm) is responding to the needs arising from recent crises around the world.

There is still time to partner in this endeavour by donating below!
