Mission Global Summer Update: Camps, Missions, and the Ride to Thrive!

The Spirit of God is moving this summer — in camps, churches, and communities around the world.

The Spirit of God is moving this summer — in camps, churches, and communities around the world.

In this special Summer Update video, you’ll get glimpse of what God is doing through Mission Global — and how your partnership is helping make it all possible.

Mission Days – At Summer Camps

At Braeside Family Camp, over 20 Mission Global workers gathered — and more than $14,000 was raised. In Ottawa, campers gave $40,000 — a powerful move of generosity and calling among the next generation.

At Alberta’s Heritage Camp on Sylvan Lake, Innocent and Immaculee Sezibera shared their vision for unreached people in northern Guinea. Their message was warmly received, and over $7,000 was given in support.

This weekend I will be at Lakeshore Camp connecting with families and churches. Camps like this are sacred spaces where people hear and respond to God’s call.

Introducing our Summer Initiative — Murray’s Ride to Thrive 2025:

This summer, we’re excited to launch Ride to Thrive in partnership with ERDO — raising $120,000 to equip a surgical theatre at Namoruputh Health Centre in northern Kenya.

Mark your calendars: The Ride to Thrive will take place in Ottawa on August 23 and Milton on September 6. Together, we can bring healing to those who need it most.

A Special Thank You

We keep hearing about Canadian churches and families and their care for our Global Workers as they travel across Canada this summer. It is not easy to be ‘on the road’ so your hospitality and generosity is a blessing.
