Location: United Kingdom, Eurasia
Ministry Focus: Vanessa (Johnson) Leedham is a teacher with a heart for community transformation. Recently married, she is currently settling into her new life in the UK, learning about the local school and church systems and finding her niche. She has been enjoying exploring England and learning its history. However, she has also been learning about the social issues, such as loneliness, alcoholism, high suicide rates and depression, which have a great effect on many parts of the country. Vanessa’s vision is to plant a church that lives purposefully amongst its community, providing an open example of the hope, purpose and belonging that Christianity brings.
Ministry History: Vanessa has wanted to be a pastor and a teacher since before she was 12 years old. She got her pastoral degree from Summit Pacific College, and her teaching degree from University of Ottawa. She gained experience in church planting during her two years on staff at CLCC Aldergrove, then spent a couple years teaching at Pacific Academy. She moved to Doncaster at the beginning of September 2018 and, after getting married, moved to Bristol in September 2020.
