Ministry Focus: Remarkable changes are seen and experienced in people’s lives, even though many of the 50,000 are yet to be changed.  Evangelism, church planting and church buildings, discipleship, education through schools, clean water from solar operated bore holes and wind pump, food supplements for the hungry and vulnerable patients and efficient, quality, affordable medical care with God’s love and compassion with prayers, promote healing and HOPE in Jesus for eternity. All glory to our eternal God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who enable and empower His children.

More positive changes, even though most people walk for hours and days to seek medical assistance, those who can afford the cost are carried on motorbikes. Amazing progression! In addition to wards for the very sick and weary, the newly constructed outpatient department with operating room for minor surgery has 30% work till completion. After which, equipment and furnishings will be procured. 

Future needs , new laboratory with blood bank facilities, Medical Doctor, Surgeon, Clinical officer, laboratory technician,  Human Resource  Personnel and administrative assistant, all with a passion to serve God by serving His people. 

This health  and healing centre of excellence will be a Sanctuary for each person who enters the compound. A gentle smile, soft touch, and sweet fragrance of Jesus to God.

Ministry History: God’s call on Deborah’s life remains unchanged as she continues to minister among the Turkana people in Loima Location, North Western Kenyan. Her mission and vision are mandated in Mark 16:15-20 and Matthew 25:35-40.

The distance between Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi to Eldoret to Namoruputh in Loima, remains unchanged. However, instead of  2 or 3 days by road, there are commercial flights to Lodwar. The road trip between Lodwar to Namoruputh remains adventurous and exciting with rustic, rugged terrain and splendid desert beauty displaying God’s awesome creation and glory. The scorching temperatures remain the same.

Prayer Requests:

• For  PAOC / ERDO that we will engage in a peaceful and fruitful dialogue with churches  founded by PAOC,  for future sustainability of medical and developmental activities in Loima Location. 

• Continued healthy partnership with Turkana Ministry of Health who provide the Health Centre with professional staff. 

• All staff to serve God joyfully as they serve and minister to each patient and relative. 

• Provision of  hydro and solar energy for entire health centre complex.
• Logistics to reach the Puch Hill communities with the Gospel. There is no fresh water, medical aid or education on the hills.
