Rev. David Hazzard
David Hazzard was first elected to the General Executive of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada in 1996, while serving as the senior pastor of Queensway Cathedral in Toronto, Ontario. He was later elected as an executive officer in 2000, serving first as the assistant superintendent for Ministerial Services and currently as the general secretary treasurer (previously titled as the assistant superintendent for Fellowship Services). 

David is a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, Emmanuel Bible College, and Ontario Theological Seminary (now Tyndale Seminary). Following graduation from EPBC, he served on the pastoral staff of Kitchener Gospel Temple and Pickering Pentecostal Church. David then spent three years with the World Missions Division of the PAOC, teaching at Pan Africa Christian College in Nairobi, Kenya, also involved on the Leadership Team of Nairobi Pentecostal Church. 

Returning to Canada in 1988, he accepted the position of senior pastor of Evangel Assembly, Edmonton, Alberta. In 1994 he was invited as senior pastor of Queensway Cathedral. As General Secretary Treasurer, David now oversees all financial aspects of the PAOC International Office, including the annual budget, the Pension Fund and the Certificate Mortgage Program. 

He also oversees various other responsibilities including the credentialing of ministers, church chartering and the constitutions of the Fellowship.
