Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

MISSION CANADA

Praise God for last week’s bi-annual Mission Canada gathering which included 30+ Mission Canada workers and priority co-ordinators in Mississauga, Ontario. Pray that, as the workers reach out to connect with people through their various specific ministries, they will be encouraged, inspired and re-invigorated in the call that God has placed upon their lives. Pray that God will guide their words as they proclaim His message to the people they minister to. Pray for God to provide for their financial needs, and pray also for physical and spiritual protection for the workers and their families.

SASKATCHEWAN DISTRICT

Pray for everyone attending the day of intercessory prayer and fasting that is being held on June 23 at the Way of Life Church in Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan. Pray that God will pour out His Spirit to revitalize this church and the area around it. Pray also that people will be inspired and encouraged in their prayer lives through their day together.

Heather Le Quant

CANADA

Pray for Heather, a Mission Canada worker who is going to Thunder Bay, Ontario, to reach Canada’s Indigenous children. Heather is the new children’s ministry team lead working with NorthWind Family Ministries to reach children and their families as she shares God's love and teaches His Word. Pray for Heather that, from the beginning, even as a new worker, she will sense deep connections with the people she is ministering to. Pray for God’s favour upon her and that she will be blessed with creative insight in sharing the gospel effectively. Thunder Bay has a high suicide rate. Pray for people to be set free from depression and bondage so they can experience the love and power that Jesus brings.

Joy Johnston

UGANDA

Pray for Joy as she connects with missionaries and churches in Uganda. Pray that there will be a greater missions vision within Ugandan churches. Pray for the development of culturally relevant tools that equip and train people for missions. Pray also for Joy’s health and safety during frequent road travel.
