Ministry Focus: The nation the Lord is calling her to is largely an unreached area with 2,445 groups of peoples who have little to no access to hear about Christ. Her calling is to reach the vulnerable and marginalized, especially women and children. She wants to reach them by learning and engaging in their culture and language, loving and encouraging through Christ-like, authentic relationships, and clear gospel declaration in word and deed.
“Therefore, strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you. For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat.” (Isaiah 25:3-4 NIV)
Ministry History: While the call to global work came to her as a child, everything that has happened since then has been part of the preparation for the calling God has put in her life. For over 10 years, her career has consisted of teaching ESL and Canadian culture to adult immigrants, refugees, and international college students in Toronto. As a teacher in Canada, she has engaged opportunity to not only teach English and Literacy, but also advise, encourage, and empower people who experience deep loneliness and discouragement. From 2017 through 2019 she served in an educational context in a RAN nation, and believes that this was another piece of God’s training to prepare her for this next assignment.
- That she may build a faithful team of prayer and financial partners.
- That the Lord will open doors of access to her country of burden.
- That the Lord will enable her to fully immerse in the new culture to advance God’s kingdom with these least-reached peoples.
