RAN Global Worker
Ministry Focus: My passion is to bring the hope of Jesus to unreached people groups. I am called to reach a country with more than 2,400 of these groups with little to no access to the gospel. My focus will be on the most vulnerable in this society: women and children.
My experience as a teacher and ESL specialist will likely form the core of my ministry. But I believe in hearing from the community and adapting to their needs. This is especially important because restricted contexts like this one require a unique and tailored approach.
I need supporters to partner with me as I better learn the language and conduct a needs analysis. From there, we will build a ministry to serve this unreached community.
Will you partner with me to reach women and children in this restricted context? Together we can develop a ministry that builds up the vulnerable and presents the gospel through action and proclamation.
Ministry History: The call to missions came to me as a child. Since then, I have been building experience that will benefit the women and children I plan to serve. For two years, I served in a RAN context overseas in an educational capacity. This built upon a decade teaching ESL and Canadian culture to newcomers, refugees, and international students in Toronto. As a teacher, I also have taught English studies and Literacy. More than that, I have sought to empower, encourage, and advise students, especially those experiencing loneliness and despair. I have a strong sense that this was God preparing me for this new assignment.
- A team of prayer and financial partners that share my mission for the unreached.
- Open doors in the country I’m called to serve, specifically, a visa.
- That the Holy Spirit will give me wisdom as I conduct a needs analysis and better learn the culture and language.
