Location: Germany
Ministry Focus: Emily is a mid-term Global Volunteer working in conjunction with Das Kanada Haus - one of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada's international ministry bases in Bad Bruckenau, Germany. She will be assisting with guest accommodations and hospitality at DKH, helping make visiting global workers, pastors, students, and short-term missions teams feel right at home. She also looks forward to serving local pastors and church bodies throughout Germany in musical worship, outreach, and prayer ministry. Emily is passionate about seeing the national church in Germany grow and multiply through effective evangelism, quality discipleship, and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. She desires to come alongside the great work already in progress and be a voice of encouragement as the Great Commission is carried out in Germany.
Ministry History: Growing up in a ministry home, Emily's roots have been firmly planted in the local church from a young age. God has used various pivotal experiences from her early years - travelling overseas on short-term missions trips, singing and playing the keyboard at local church camps, and volunteering with children's programming to shape her life's trajectory. Sensing a call to ministry in some shape or form, Emily went on to earn a Bachelor of Theology from Master's College and Seminary in 2018. Shortly afterward, Emily had an unexpected opportunity to take a two-week trip to Germany, where she began to feel a deep connection to the national people and the work of Das Kanada Haus. Since then, Emily has served as a Children's Pastor, and she currently works as a Worship Pastor and public school educator.
