Ministry Focus: Corey and Katherine Copeland are encouraging and equipping leaders, and are seeing God improve the lives of people in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. More than half of Mexico’s population lives below the poverty line (The Mexican News Daily, 2015). The Copeland family is joining Mexican and English churches, to help interrupt the cycle of poverty through the facilitation of ESL to orphans and the economically disadvantaged, coordinating feeding programs, inviting medical outreaches and housing improvements. They are sharing these opportunities with teams and leaders of all ages. Most importantly, God is bringing opportunity for people to hear the message of the Gospel; to bring hope to Mexicans, expats and tourists. God is on the move and miracles have taken place!
Ministry History: In 2015, standing in a dump in Mexico, God changed the Copeland’s lives forever. They had served in ministry and in education, but had felt led to take their children for an opportunity to ‘widen their perspective’. This opportunity, impacted all of them, as they served people trying to search out an income from the trash of a popular tourist destination. Two years later, they believe, God is calling them to serve Him full time in Mexico coordinating missions and outreach in partnership with English and Spanish ministries in the Puerto Vallarta area. God is doing miracles!
