Ministry History: Ashley McCarthy spent two and half years living and serving in Cambodia with her family and during that time, she met a young mom, SreyRohm, who had a vision for her community. Together they developed Hope Family Handicrafts; a family run project that provides employment for women in rural Cambodia in sewing and crafting. SreyRohm is a Christian and is building relationships in her community where she can share Christ and help meet the needs of families living in vulnerable situations.
Ashley was able to live and work alongside these women training and doing design and marketing for the clothing that they make. Hope Family sells their products in several trade fairs in Phnom Penh and also in Ontario. A few times a year, Ashley will travel to Cambodia to do more training and bring a shipment of clothing back.
Her heart is to also encourage and bless the missionaries, pastors, and national workers that she formed close friendships with over the years. God has placed a burden on her heart to care for those working in positions of ministry.
Please join with her in prayer that Hope Family will continue to reach families in the community and lives will be transformed for the Kingdom.
