Ministry Focus: Amy will be going to Angola to work alongside Aimee Heyer, a PAOC Global Worker. There, she will be helping with day-to-day tasks at the Tchincombe farm ministry to the Mungambwe Tribe. Amy will observe and assist in the farm clinic as well as lending support to the Sunday School and horse ministries.
Amy will also have opportunities to tour and spend time at the missions hospital in Lubango and the remote mission clinic up in Cuvango with other missionaries. The goal would be for her to have ample opportunity to experience different aspects of medical missions in Angola as well as providing volunteer help wherever needed.
Ministry History: Amy has been serving in her church since the age of 10, teaching on Sunday morning with kids in the nursery, preschool and school age, and as a leader at the weekly kid's ministry. She has been working as a Summer Intern for the past two years, with the main focus of working with and leading programs for the kids in the community. Amy has also participated in a short-term missions trip with her youth group in 2017. She has a love for worship through music, and encouraging people to experience God through this while serving as a worship leader at her church.
Amy is currently pursuing her nursing degree and is passionate about serving and caring for people holistically and cannot wait to experience and grow her hunger for medical missions. She has a heart for serving people of the community and is excited for this opportunity to head to Angola and serve a community halfway across the world.
