Ministry Location: South Africa
Ministry Focus: Cindy's role is to provide Administrative and Information Technology assistance to Emmanuel Press. She has been involved with Emmanuel Press since 2007.
Emmanuel Press was pioneered in 1928 by the first PAOC Missionary, C. Austin Chawner. The purpose of the ministry is to provide Evangelical Gospel Tracts and Discipleship Courses to people all across the African Continent. Literature Evangelism continues to be one of the most effective ways to reach rural Africans with the life saving, life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each month Emmanuel Press sends out over 40,000 Tracts, and receives about 1,500 responses from people who want to know more about Jesus! More than 60,000 Lessons are sent annually, and approximately 2,500 Courses are completed each year!
Cindy is helping Emmanuel Press to reach more language groups by working with translators so that the materials can be provided in more African languages. She is responsible to take the translated materials and prepare them for printing using desktop publishing software.
Ministry History: Cindy first arrived at Emmanuel Press in 2006 as a visitor, and never really left. The Lord made it clear to her that her 28 years in the corporate world were designed to train her and equip her to serve at Emmanuel Press.
