Kaja’s passion for discipleship and sharing the gospel with students, as well as her own university experience, led her to join the staff team of University Christian Ministries (UCM) after graduating from the University of British Columbia (UBC). UCM’s mission is to make, mature, and mobilize Christ-followers who will do the same with their peers. UCM’s vision is to cultivate a community of Christ-followers, living out Acts 2 with prayer, worship, fellowship, service, and discipleship. A safe space is created on campus by UCM workers so students can come with questions about faith, and together they can dialogue and find answers through God’s Word.

Kaja is excited to walk alongside students as they grow in their faith: discipling students who will disciple other students. Around campus, she can be found having a conversation with a student over a coffee and supporting and leading small group leaders in their role.
