GENERAL CONFERENCE 2020
Our online General Conference 2020 will be taking place tomorrow (Tuesday, May 5). Pray that the Spirit will speak to our hearts about the next steps we will take together as a Fellowship. Pray that we will be unified and encouraged in our mission together to make disciples wherever the Lord leads, working in unity, and commanding the Lord’s blessing. Pray that God will show us His favour and blessing as we track forward to all He has for His church in the days ahead. Pray that God will provide wisdom and guidance as business and voting is conducted. Pray also for effective performance of all of the technology being used and for participants to have a smooth experience as well.

CANADA
Please continue to pray for Canadians impacted by the recent tragedy in Nova Scotia, where 22 people were killed. Pray especially for comfort, peace, strength and encouragement for the communities where the violence occurred and for the families and friends who lost loved ones. Pray for the pastors, local churches and our Maritime District as they reach out and care for those affected in the communities they serve. Pray also for opportunities for the gospel to spread, so that many people will find hope and comfort in Christ.

WORLDWIDE
Please continue to pray for God’s intervention in the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected almost 3,436,000, and killed more than 239,600 people throughout the world. Pray for healing for those people who have been suffering from COVID-19, and comfort for those who have lost their loved ones. Pray for continued protection for all of the frontline and essential workers, and for wisdom and guidance for all of the world leaders on how to navigate their economies. Ask God to strengthen people in developing nations who are already malnourished, and to protect them from the threat. Pray that the gospel will spread and many will receive Christ worldwide.
