CANADA

More than 10,300 people have died from opioid overdoses over the last two years, making it a national crisis. Opioid overdoses are quickly becoming the leading cause of death among Canadians aged 30-39. Crossroads Ministries is hosting Canada Cares: Getting Connected on the Opioid Crisis—a free in-studio and livestream event on June 18, to assist Canadians in learning, praying, taking action and collaborating on God-sized solutions. Pray that God will comfort and encourage families, friends and communities that have been devastated by this national health emergency. Pray also that those impacted by addictions will turn to Christ for His love, comfort, healing, deliverance and transformation to be at work in their lives.

WESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

Pray for everyone attending the Legacy Camp at Braeside Camp in Paris, Ontario, from June 23 to 27. Ask God to inspire and encourage them as they worship, learn from the speakers and experience fellowship with one another and with Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit will speak to them and give them a renewed vision on how to reach their communities for Christ.

SUMMER CAMPS & VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS

Pray for the camps and vacation Bible schools taking place across Canada this summer. Pray that many people will encounter God in a new, fresh and loving way and decide to follow Jesus, and that they will be empowered by His Spirit. Pray that God will bless the speakers with wisdom and use them in making a tremendous spiritual impact. Pray that all of the staff and volunteers will be encouraged and strengthened. Pray also for the health, safety and protection of everyone participating in the programs.

Catherine & Alan Pysar

UGANDA

May God bless and guide Catherine with wisdom as she serves as an academic consultant to all of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada-affiliated colleges and universities in Africa. Pray that the right networks will be connected to assist with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Uganda to expand the Transformation Centre. Pray also that Catherine will be encouraged and mentally, emotionally and physically strengthened as she works with various people.
