Faith is about believing!

Our journey to Honduras has been a journey of faith. We stepped out of our comfort zones and have walked into an incredible experience that has transformed our lives. To bring hope and to have the opportunity to teach thousands of children about the future that Jesus has for them has been life-changing for our family!

We are approaching our third year anniversary here in Honduras. We continue to be amazed at His goodness and His faithfulness. Also, we are so grateful for His provisions and that He continues to supply all of our emotional, financial, and physical needs. God is GOOD! We have moved into a new and larger team house! God provided this ministry with an incredible home for hosting future teams to Honduras!

Over the past few weeks, we have hosted a couple from Langley, BC who came to observe the ministry of Schools of Hope. We also had an intern (Sara) from Petrolia come and assist our ministry team for seven weeks! And just this week, Breanne has arrived from Gananoque, Ontario to spend a month with us!

We continue to be amazed by the team that God has assembled here at Schools of Hope. Our team truly is the best and we love it when we have team gatherings! The laughter. The connection. The prayer and worship times. God is doing something special here in Teguc!

The Seedlings class, that is being taught to over 300 Grade 5 students, is going very well. The most recent lesson was about water baptism. The discussion has been beneficial since most of the kids have been taught that to get to heaven, you must be baptized. It is great to have the opportunity to share what God's Word teaches.

It's hard to imagine that at the end of this current lesson, half of our season will be completed. It seems like we just got started! The lesson this month is about the  parable of the mustard seed. These kids are learning that if we just have a little faith, God will do the rest and He will do spectacular things in our lives. We must trust. We must believe. We must have faith and know that God is for us!

We've had some donations towards these projects and even some commitments from children's summer programs! We welcome your investment in these projects!
