Happy 25th MAKiverary!

Some of our very first MAK letters told stories about our small boys’ lives in Thailand. Back then there were no little sisters yet; just three boys. I wrote letters to the kids in Canadian churches about how our boys were missing their friends and especially their grandparents back in Canada. I told stories about snakes in the yard, spiders in the kitchen, lizards in our shoes and cockroaches in the cupboards! Photos showed us playing in the pouring rain, or sitting on elephants, as well as spending Christmas holidays at the beach. We asked the kids in Canadian churches to pray for Josiah, Jordan, and Joel, who were having a bit of a hard time adjusting to their new home in Bangkok with its sticky heat, spicy food, and stinky smells. Read more
