LOCATION: Tanzania, Africa
TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT:
Jeanette’s vision is that vulnerable children will have life in all its fullness, realize they are a child of God and have hope for their future. She also prays that all men, women, boys and girls in Africa and the Middle East will have the opportunity to hear the Good News and experience His life-changing power in their lives.
MINISTRY FOCUS:
Jeanette is part of the Africa & Middle East Regional team, where her focus is to coordinate and support initiatives, through strategic input, planning, and special projects, to advance the AME region’s two-fold focus of reaching the least reached, making disciples and caring for the most vulnerable.
She also partners with ERDO’s ChildCARE Plus (CCP) program to build the capacity and contribute to impacting the lives of vulnerable children and communities.
Based in Mwanza, she is part of the leadership team of Petra City Church, a vibrant church plant, and provides organizational support for PAOC Mission in Tanzania.
MINISTRY HISTORY:
Having felt called to missions as a young girl, Jeanette went on several short-term mission trips as a young adult, then graduated from bible college and seminary. Her first full-time ministry role was with Crossroads Christian Communications. After a decade, she transitioned to MAP International and then to World Vision Canada where, for over 20 years, she served some of the world’s most vulnerable children. In 2019, God opened the door for her to become a PAOC Global Worker and join Villages of Hope Africa (VOH) where she served until early 2026. She is grateful for the wonderful experiences she has had and is excited to use them in her role with the AME regional team.
